What does it mean to be causative?

What does it mean to be causative?

Something that I learned fairly early on in my personal growth journey is that all of us have been created to operate as causative beings.

Whether we realize it or not, each of us is creating every single moment, every single day of our lives.

And if we’re not happy with the way our life is going, we have the ability to make the change at any moment, to shift our focus and energy to create a different life for ourselves.

If you know my story, you know that for the first few years of my adult life, I was a struggling janitor making no more than $20,000 a year, and stuck.

But when my first mentor brought this idea into my awareness that I am a causative being in EVERY area of my life, including my finances, it changed everything for me.

I began to operate from the belief that I do indeed have dominion over all things (as do you), even the financial situation of my life. And I could indeed be causative to create different conditions than I was currently experiencing.

You see, when we understand that we are causative beings and that we’ve been given dominion to create that which we desire, the lens through which we see the world begins to shift.

When we operate with true intention and awareness of the fact that we are causative, we begin to see opportunities in front of us that we normally wouldn’t have - back when we operated according to the “cards we’ve been dealt.”

When I made that shift in my awareness, I remember new opportunities entering my life. Or rather, opportunities that had been there along but that I just didn’t see. And then stepping out and acting on those opportunities. And that’s when things really began to change.

Within a few years, I went from making $20,000 a year to over a million dollars a year.

But what I did that most people don’t do is I applied my understanding of this law with purpose and intention and laser-focus for a prolonged period of time. And that allowed me to not only double my income but grow it exponentially.

So let me ask you… where are you at when it comes to your finances?

Are you where you want to be? Are you satisfied? Or are you seeking to grow in this area?

Look, this isn’t the only important area of your life to seek growth, but it IS an important one for sure.

The truth of the matter is (and I truly believe this with every ounce of my being), that you can be, do, and have anything that you desire if you follow the lawful processes of creation, according to how the universe has been designed to operate.

Who’s to say you can’t double your income? I know that you can.

So lean in and I hope you’ll allow me to speak into your life in this area. Over the next few weeks, I’m going to be sharing some of the big ideas that have allowed me to grow my income.

And as you’re thinking about your goals for the new year, let me encourage you to begin thinking about your financial goals - and don’t be afraid to THINK BIG.

If I can double my income as a high school dropout janitor who believed myself to be dumb and stupid for the first half of my life; if I can do it many times over in the span of my career, trust me, this is not a far-fetched goal or dream for you either.

P.S. Don’t forget to join me this Saturday at 9:30 am (ET) as I elaborate on the law of cause & effect and how you can begin operating from it in your very own life! >> www.facebook.com/empoweredlivingcommunity

How to leave an impression of increase and why it matters...

How to leave an impression of increase and why it matters...

One of my favorite pieces of writing of all time is The Spirit of Opulence by Thomas Troward.

If you’re not familiar with it, one of the key principles that he teaches is the importance of giving; the importance of generosity.

This doesn’t just apply to our personal practice of giving, but it applies to everything we do in life and in business.

Something I’m committed to is operating with the intention of leaving an impression of increase wherever I go.

Let me share with you a few ways I practice this in my everyday life and why it matters.

Something I almost always do is leave a tip of at least 20% for a restaurant server.

Whenever someone comes to the house to work (whether it’s the cable guy or the landscaper), I give them a cash tip just to say thank you. $20 isn’t going to break my bank, but it could be very significant to the person on the receiving end.

It’s not something I’m obligated to do, and it’s something most people don’t think of doing, but it leaves the impression of increase with the person receiving it. It leaves that person feeling like they’ve won. And that’s powerful.

In business, this is so critical as well.

But here’s the sad truth: many people have the wrong mindset in their business and in their careers.

If someone works for an employer and there’s an opportunity for a promotion, they might easily slip into a competitive mindset that causes them to ask, “how can I get ahead of the people around me?”

Many try to push others down because they believe that’s how they will rise up. They come from this place of fear and scarcity - the thought that “there’s not enough for everyone.”

And business owners struggle with this too: this idea that there’s only a certain number of potential clients and they need to make sure they beat their competitors.

Of course you want to do everything you can to deliver the maximum value you can deliver, but it’s not about competing, it’s about operating from a place of creativity, recognizing that there is an abundance in this universe in all things.

Think back to the good old days when we used telephone books… there’s thousands of pages of potential clients, and that’s just in your city alone; not to mention the world.

There’s no shortage of supply.

When you have this awareness, it gives you the freedom to be able to operate from this place of leaving the impression of increase, because you’re not afraid or threatened by the false idea that by giving someone more, you’re going to have less.

This couldn’t be further from the truth.

Think about it. A rising tide lifts ALL boats.

And when I look at how I operate in my business, I’ve been very intentional about living out this philosophy… when I win, you win, and when you win, I win - whether it’s a client relationship, with a vendor, or even in business partnerships.

I always want to leave the feeling with the other person that they have come out far ahead than if I was never in their life.

And I guarantee you, circling back to this idea from The Spirit of Opulence that giving is the first law of receiving - and I mean giving with sincerity and a genuine spirit because you truly want to give - this has been a critical component in my ability to achieve great levels of financial success and fulfillment in ALL areas of my life.

So let me encourage you to look at your life and to ask yourself, are you operating from a place of intentionality to leave an impression of increase?

Or have you succumbed to the common default of operating with a competitive, scarcity-focused mindset in any area of your life?

How you do anything is how you do everything!

There’s a vast difference in the results you’ll get from one versus the other. If you have big goals for yourself, financial or otherwise, making this shift to operate with an awareness of leaving the impression of increase wherever you go is going to get you far.

One goal that I have often encouraged my private clients to go for is the goal of doubling their income. But you won’t get there, coming from a place of scarcity, I can promise you that.

A message from Benjamin

A message from Benjamin

It’s when I receive messages like this that my heart is truly filled with gratitude, so much so that I have to pinch myself because I can hardly believe it’s me who gets to do this work.

I received this message ( https://drive.google.com/file/d/1__ZZox--40jTKjIBkulx_S5l5AI76D1F/view) a few weeks ago from Benjamin, one of the members in my Results Mastermind Group. I got his permission to share a clip of the message with you because the truth is, this really does work.

In our group, we’ve been looking at the process of visualization, how your thoughts create your reality, and the power of focusing on what it is that you want versus worrying about what you don’t want to happen.

And when you start understanding these things, you’re able to apply them to your life, and you come to find that all of this really does work.

I would encourage you to listen to this short message. It’s only about a minute long.

And just be encouraged that wherever you are in your life, you can start today. Even if up until now you’re not satisfied with the results you’ve gotten in your life.

The truth is, we all have the opportunity (at any given moment) to change course— to make a decision to start fresh and to go in a new direction.

Benjamin made that decision, and he’s been very purposeful and intent on following through on that decision. And it has paid off. Just look at this picture of the beautiful home he and his family now live in.

Truly, they are so grateful. And I am celebrating with them.

So, trust the process and know that this doesn’t just work for some people— it works for everyone. In fact, it’s working for you right now, whether you realize it or not.

You’re manifesting your life right here and now as you read this email.

But let me ask you this: are you manifesting what you want or what you don’t want?

So, let me encourage you to lean in and to truly trust the process.

It works and it works every single time it’s tried.

Again, I just feel overwhelmed with gratitude that I get to be connected with people like Benjamin, and people like yourself who are committed to growing and expanding their lives so they can have a greater impact on the world.

That’s what this world needs more than anything.
